The original thing that made me like Rooftop tent was the main benefit of being up off the group. Now that in and of itself has a lot of pros and it also has some cons.
For some customers half the year or more sometimes in some of these places there’s snow on the ground or freshly melted snow on the ground so there’s mud. And many other places are rocky as well, so finding a nice spot to lay a tent that isn't dirty, doesn’t require a lot of work, and doesn’t require cleaning rocks is sometimes a painful thing to do. As well as finding level places to camp. Rooftop tent solves all of those problems so you’re up off the group so you’re off the snow, you’re off the mud, you’re off the rocks, you can’t do that with a ground tent.
Clean-up is a lot easier, especially if it rains overnight and water is washing and turning into the mud under you or flowing into your tent if you don’t have quite laid out right. None of that with a rooftop tent, you don’t have to worry about staff and debris on your tent and packing it up and brushing it off later, all you have is water on your tent really for the most part unless some leaves fall on it, so then you just pack it up there’s no mud you will want to unfold it and let it air out when you get back home probably. But as for as the packing up's concerned it's very clean.
So another huge benefit of being up off the ground is that you are away from snakes, spiders, scorpions, other bugs and insects, and critters, and that kind of stuff, as well as offer, is a little bit more protection from you bigger critters like bears and stuff like that, if you have to worry about that, yes bear could get up there, but for in my mind, I feel like it’s a little bit safer from those types of animals as well.
In fact, the rooftop tent is still quite practical, why do I say that? Because, compared with traditional tents, it is not so prominent in terms of space, but fortunately, the convenience of roof tents is very high.
In addition, the location is relatively high, so you don't have to be afraid of harassment by mosquitoes and wild animals. Therefore, it is not without reason that the roof tent is highly practical.
